Women In Animation

This Animation was my second year project in which I directed myself.

Our brief was to create a documentary style animation with a topic of our choice, I chose to focus on women in animation and why so many get discouraged when they enter the workplace.

I was responsible for the whole animation however, I only animated the “At Home” character and designed all of the characters.

Calico Cuts

Calico Cuts is a short animation about a world dominated by cats, set in a happy calicos barber shop hes shocked by the arrival of a hairless sphynx hoping for a haircut!

I was the clean up animator for some of this film!

Sleep Well Dear

Director- Olivia Lyon

This short Animation is based off of a comic idea that Olivia had. The comic focusses on a girl who moves to a new city for school, her grandma soothes her nerves by giving her a strange raven looking statue and explains it will help her sleep. Little does she know the raven turns into a guardian at night who stops her nightmares from surfacing…

I was responsible for the Character Design of the Red Head Girl and her Grandma, I also Animated a few scenes.
